About
My name is Ava Donaldson. Welcome to my portfolio!
I’m pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. I am currently the Lead Graphic Designer of Cal Poly Advertising, a student-run agency that works with organizations local to the San Luis Obispo area. This summer, I will be adding SESLOC, a central coast credit union, to my resume as a graphic design intern, alongside my past experience working with Deloitte Consulting. In the fall, I will be joining Mustang News as a junior designer.
As a designer, I especially enjoy creating visual works that are both organized and impactful. My favorite graphic design projects involve creative problem solving and opportunities to work with typography and layout. I approach each project with patience, intense attention to detail, and a love for typesetting. When I am not working, you will find me reading memoirs, painting, lying on the beach, or eating tacos.
